morning sun

Left Elin's around 8am.
I was waiting for the bus,
when i saw mist of gold upon a distance building
-hidden between the immediate rows of buildings
across from when i was standing.

I wished for the bus to come soon;
couldnt wait to see the sun mist dance
tickling the surface of the River Thames.
The bus came too late,
leaving me feeling fuzzy yet warm in the odd phenomenon:
the sun shone in london's winter breeze.

Planned to take a short nap as i reached home.
Soon it got distracted by the need to warm myself up:
a cup of green tea, toasted crumpet and "inbox" folder.
there goes: my father was updating me with his life/work.
i am recalling once we shared the warmth of this; being in each other pressence, over hot coffee and toasted sweet sandwhich hawker's style, close to midnight.

i replied his email,
trying to assure him that i am doing ok and hope the best for him too.
it sealed with love and a gesture of seeing each other again soon.
pressed the "sent" button, realising a second odd phenomena:
the spoilt-brat-attention-demanding role of I, has betrayed me.
im (still) feeling low and dry, thus the thought of trying to climb up gives me high.

holding on a delicate fragile string of 'hope'
and it just have to be enough (for now).

ps:
in the attempt of recreating optimism - i hv created a winter-wish-shopping-list:
1. mannequin
2. padded jacket
3. furry hat with earcover
4. an extra pair of walking daily wear boots
5. extra gloves and scarfes
6. huge portion of lobster noodle
7. set of wheels: bycicle most likely - a car, possibly maybe
8. a tropical island of my own
bla bla bla bla...
