'stranger' : random factor of faces and phases
those who genuinely smile and greets passers-by,
and later ud discover him as a designer full of character
or
barely knowing someone, yet still saying 'yes' to sit over a game or two of congklak;
accompanying u for time to pass by, shootes ur tensed nerve
or
received a long distance call,
getting annoyed for that person hardly speaks,
so he could just hear ur voice
or
picking up the boyfriend's sister at the airport,
then getting dumped on ur next trip to the airport to pick him up..
yet finding the sister is the next best thing that can happen in ur life!
or
simply finding a stranger decent enough,
the next time u met him/her on the street -ud give them a great big hug
just because
or
the elevated feeling of freedom, being with the closest people in ur heart at one time;
galloping on a horse back -over a field of grass at the country side, lit by a full moon
all happened over the shortest of a 'why not' discussion..
or
drove 3 hours out of town in the deafening silence
so u can hug ur passanger
and tell them, 'i feel, i will learn a lot about life from u'
or
committing a deliberate stupidity for an entire day
to see a genuine laughter of a big-mumha in the bus,
catching ur intentions
we've lead a life, gambling.
resting hope;
investing costs of time and effort.
giving a lot,
taking that little extra more in
-to give a little more out.
i've been wronged,
and i've been crossed,
oh, i've had my fair share.
yet for those who stayed
makes me.
they helps me be.
..
i saw paolo, for the first time since last june.
i assume he've heard,
and tonight he've seen;
the kind of mud i am in.
he too, once a stranger
those ud hardly notice in the background
swings his hip left-right-front-back
in his pink sweater ballerina converse ass sticking out of his jeans.
but we've listened
we've seen each other vulnerabilities
we've shared the same space of triumphal achievements
we've toasted among over-flowing champagne and canapes
we hardly spoke, but it was enough.
'you should've been mumpuni, u know that'
'you should've been mumpuni, u know that'
