damn it!! nope, is tomorrow.

with all the love commotion in the air; mother, on the other hand, has been on a high alert mode on my status. oh how she wonders, if i have a boy in mind.. long before i do. i've been laughing it off with a 'no'.

today, she sounded not quite herself. so i says to take care, and i love her. and the royal cards unfold, "you love me cuz, u hv no boyfriend yet.' she says,'you love me cuz u hv no husband yet. (you love me conditionally)"

'imagine, if i have a husband AND a boyfriend. that wudve been a headache dont u think?'

(silence) 'what makes u think id stop loving u, just becuz i hv other priorities? dont be silly.'

she has been on a high alert mode alright. been building a golden nest for her children all her life, and now facing the reality of each and everyone becoming fully independent functioning mature adults. for every perfected-fantasy-like-life that we share, mother, that too carry its own weight of consequences and responsibilities. dont worry, we will all share the equal weight on our shoulders: together. this too, we'll pass it gracefully.
